Your 2 &1/2 year old daughter shows up at your grandparents 50th wedding anniversary dinner in her Jammies. You spent the last 2 hours arguing with her (the 2& 1/2 year old) and somehow she won because you are just too exhausted. You realize it's really her image that will be tarnished not yours.
Amen, Janet. It's a long race, and, in the end, better her in her jammies than you.
