If I blogged every day...month...I wouldn't be a Beta!

Well, I did it! I wasn't sure I was going to make it, but I am proud to announce I just finished NO-BLO-FO-MO-MO, otherwise known as "No blogging for a month...month". It was grueling, and there were times when I thought I wasn't going to make it. I was sure there was no way I was not going to think of anything to write for an entire month, but I did it.

Now, I know there were doubters out there - un-supporters who checked my blog every day, thinking "There's just no possible way she's going to go another day without posting!". To those of you who didn't believe that I could generate a total lack of creativity, well, I think the words of Gandhi expressed it best when he said, "Be the change you wish to see in your blog".

And to those supporters who ditched my blog never to look back because you believed in my total lack of inspiration, let me just say, "Thank You".

Now that's enough of that.

So, I've gotten a few tags, a little bit of bling and a lot to catch up on. I'm going to start with a softball today, however. It's a little photo montage I like to call "Getting the Christmas Card Shot"

ps - Big bonus reader points to anyone who can tell me how to get the link button back on my blogger text bar - it's dissapeared, and I can't get it back!

I just want to say, never let it be said that Jeff Mac didn't refuse to stop disbelieving in you.

I think I said that right.

Welcome back, betamom! You were sorely missed!

She's back! I weep with tears of joy, I missed you so.

Of course, after seeing the photo montage I can see it took you the whole month to get the Christmas card shot...didn't you?

I'm a Blognostic. I can't decide if I believe in you or not, and don't really care.

I am THRILLED that you're back! I'm sure your Christmas cookies will resemble some kind of feces and there will be pictures -- YAHOO!

So which one became the Christmas card?

Hey Betamom,
I love your blog. I came across it just yesterday and laughed til my sides hurt. I read nearly every post outloud to my poor husband who was trying to play a game across the room. Patiently he listened to me and he laughed quite a bit, too.

I was afraid that you HAD been distracted by bright and shiny objects as one of your earlier posts suggested might happen. I am thrilled you are back and look forward to hearing your unique perspective on life as a mom.
-another mom, Venus

Oh, from an older post about gifts from your kids. Have you considered taking a photo of your kid with the gift instead of trying to store it. This sometimes works with my very creative 7 year old dd. It is much easier to store a floppy or a few snapshots than a plaster fresco or a toilet paper roll wise men set.

Yea! I'm not saying that I checked EVERY day but maybe. Loved the pictures of the kids and can not imagine why they are both such "hams"! Love ya! Aunt Liz

I really should take a break, but it's like some sort of obsession, I just CAN'T STOP.

Glad you're back.

Love the last photo. Such an interesting headless child.

Found you via TopMomma . . . Congrats on a solid month without posting! That takes true talent and skill. And a lot of willpower.

As for the navbar, if you log into Blogger then go to the Template tab, do you see a blue bar above the header section? If so, you can just click Edit to get the Navbar to show up again. What I can't figure out is how you got rid of it in the first place!

I'm off to dig through some html because I would love to make the Navbar disappear!
